The WHY?

It wasn't always this way. I've been eating plant-based for 25 years. And my body felt great... until my 40s. I started to have nagging pains in my neck, shoulder, and SI joint. It felt like all the cooking and other repetitive movements were taking a toll on my body.


So I did monthly treatments of physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic, and prolotherapy. Prolotherapy helped the most - but after a few weeks, the pains came back.


I started this practice last Spring. It was a learning curve, and I didn't know if it was doing much but something told me to stick with it. I'm so glad I did. After the first month, I noticed significant shifts. Sustainable shifts.


I haven't had prolotherapy since May. I've had one chiropractic visit and my chiropractor asked what I was doing. I can turn my heat without pain. No pains in my shoulder, and my pelvis is free again!


With my renewed joyous physicality, I immersed myself in training to be able to provide this to others.

Part 1

Live & recorded zoom classes: CHANGE YOUR FASCIA, CHANGE YOUR LIFE. When you take care of your fascia, it will take care of you. Because when you CHANGE the fascia through engaged movement, it allows the muscles to move freely, instead of pulling on attachments and stressing the joints. We also enjoy a better flow of energy through the body. Less pain, more joy!

Part 2

Every month we will enjoy some yin practices, also concomitant with the organs/seasons in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our fascia changing sessions are very “yang”. You will feel your body heat up, you will build muscle, and you will even get a cardio response. Our yin sessions will bring the balance, the “yin” into our life, nourishing the nervous system amongst other benefits.


Part 3

Our movements will be deeply supported by good nutrition. Our bodies’ tissues rebound easier when we consume less processed foods, more organic foods, and clean water.


Moreover, we can finesse our diets to include more foods and food preparation that are in alignment with the seasons in Chinese Medicine. In the Summer JOY Club, you will receive an ebook that I have curated with over 30 recipes and some food guidelines for this time of year.


FAQs

Q: I can't attend the live classes, will the classes be recorded?

Yes. I record all live classes and send out the recordings that afternoon for members to practice. Members will have access to all the recordings of the session to practice as much as they want.


Q: Do I need any experience to attend these classes?

Absolutely not. I will have an introduction class to share more information about the session and get you ready for the classes!


Q: Can I do these classes in my 70s?

You can do these classes at any age. If you have a willing spirit, you can participate.


Q: Do I need resistance bands or other equipment?

No. Just a sticky (yoga mat) or another surface to work on. Sometimes I bring in a chair or yoga blocks to give people options to work on the mat. If you don't have yoga blocks, you can use books.


Q: How long do we have access to the JOY club recordings?

I will keep the recordings active for 6 months after the end of our session (in August).


Q: Can this help my knee pain? Can this help my SI joint pain? What about lower back pain?

Yes, with practice you will experience shifts to reduce and even remove pain. Practice and commitment to the movement are necessary. If you have that, you can experience wonderful shifts in your tissues, and also your energy, digestion, immunity, and overall health.
